KARE 11 – Three films to check out on your next movie night

By Brian Eggert | September 14, 2024

Dear readers,

On my latest appearance on KARE 11, on September 14, 2024, I shared some perfect picks with anchor Chris Hrapsky for a cozy movie night at home. These selections include a blend of drama, artistry, and captivating storytelling.

The three must-see films from 2024 that I recommended include: Tuesday, a moving film from A24 starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, which explores whether we’re willing to accept death as a natural part of life; Evil Does Not Exist, Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s latest, about the delicate balance between humans and Nature; and the documentary Merchant Ivory, which delves into the legendary filmmaking duo Merchant Ivory, offering insight into their lasting impact on cinema.

Hopefully, I’ve selected something for everyone. Check out the video here, and stay tuned for my next appearance on KARE 11 on October 19.

In the meantime, visit the Guest Appearances page to see more of my guest appearances on television and podcasts.

Happy viewing!

Brian
